Pubblicati per la prima volta nella capitale francese nella seconda metà dell'Ottocento, questi Tarocchi di Besançon presentano una caratteristica estetica peculiare: una barra diagonale che attraversa le immagini degli Arcani Maggiori e delle carte di corte, dividendo e specchiando i soggetti in modo inedito. Come tutti gli altri prodotti della serie Anima Antiqua, anche questo è disponibile in un’edizione limitata di soli 3.999 esemplari.


First published in the French capital in the second half of the 19th century, these Tarots de Besançon have a distinctive aesthetic feature: a diagonal bar running through the images of the Major Arcana and the court cards, dividing and mirroring the subjects in an unprecedented way. Like all other products in the Anima Antiqua series, this one is available in a limited edition of only 3,999 pieces.
